week 4 - i have been focusing on particular forms / perspectives / elevations. 

left - a semi internal perspective that explores strong linear movement with select vertical paths. i also like the relationship of screening (solid grey) glazing (transparent grey) and focal solidity (solid red).

above is a continuation of the previous elevation. i have explored the effect of directional  lighting on the camouflaging properties of similar forms. weaving has also informed my thinking about addressing site conditions.

week 3 - in this week i attempted to create scalable spaces / forms so i could begin to get into the house. the images were became more  interesting to develop as  qualities such as light / shadow / shelter / primary/secondary spaces became more evident. both these image have / will proceed to inform my thinking.

#1. attempted flocking - replication of module, movement around an axis. this has given me a few ideas about the lapping of form and negative space 

#2. the same form as above simply in elevation. this accidental discovery has  driven thoughts about reaction to site in plan, spacial relationships in section, movement and balance. I would like to explore this further.

#3 macro / micro experimentation. i discovered interesting overlays  junctions in this image which i might use to inform site manipulation.

#4 through the  slight crumpling of my square module, connections can be made to patricia piccinini's affect on the human canvas.
